3 Books that Changed My Thinking and My Life

Hey babes! If you know me, you know that if I decide to go to the grocery store, hit the gym, or meet up with friends for dinner, I have to jump in my little silver car and pedal down for 40+ miles… At this point in my life, I usually find myself making the 90 mile round trip about to town about twice a week. Soo how do I occupy myself during this time? Well, if you ask my husband he would say I probably carry on a conversation with myself for the entire 40+ miles…LOL!

Which, is true. But I also, listen to audio books. It’s one of my favorite ways to pass the time. In the last year, I’ve listened to some pretty amazing books that have had a major impact on my life and I want to share them with you.

1. You are a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero

Jen does a fabulous job of crushing the idea that men can and should only be the bread winners. She made me feel like it was okay that I wanted to use my talents to make money and contribute to our household and to society. Jen is a badass, guys! She shares the tips, tricks and mantras that helped her become a successful business owner and how to can break through your limiting beliefs to unlock your full financial potential. I’m actually listening to this one for a 2nd time because it was THAT good!

2. The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

Hal doesn’t joke around when it comes to waking up early and crushing your goals! Hal shares his story about how he started the Miracle Morning Movement where folks from all walks of life are waking up early to focus on self development. He says that once you try it you won’t be able to stop! You know I’m all about developing habits that will help you level up in life and implementing the miracle morning can certainly help with that.

3. Girl, Wash Your Face and Girl, Stop Apologizing by Rachel Hollis

Let’s just say I have a small, and by small I mean HUGE, girl crush on Rachel Hollis. I listened to both of Rachel’s “Girl” books and lets just say I am ready for another. She’s real, she’s down to earth, and she tells it like it is. I love her no-nonsense approach about how to stop worrying about what other people think and start living your dream life!

So what are you waiting for, pick up one of these books or download one to listen to while you walk the dog, drive to work, or wind down from a long day.

Happy Reading!
