Isn’t it amazing that we can learn almost anything from our cell phones. How do you think I passed calculus? Well, someone decided they should sit down and record them solving calculus problems and post them to a YouTube page. That’s how… Now you won’t find me recording step-by-step calculus tutorials in my free time, you can find me listening to a slew of different podcasts to learn more about business, self-development, and numerous other topics.
I wanted to let you know some of my current favs. so you can download a couple and listen to them on your commute, while your pounding the pavement, or simply waiting in the carpool line.
1. The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher
Jenna’s podcast was one of the first podcasts I religiously listened too. I love Jenna’s amazing interviews, her business tips and tricks, and her insights to being a successful female entrepreneur. Jenna doesn’t sugar-coat her struggles with growing her business and her family. She is a real as they come and her business how-to’s are logical, practical, and easy to implement in your business.
2. The Live Your Story Podcast by Marlene Eick
I had the opportunity to see Marlene speak at a conference I attended before I finally found her podcast. But boy am I glad a stumbled upon this one! If you are a small town girl– this is the podcast for you. Marlene and her guests are so relateable and down to earth. I also might be a little biased on this one–since I had the opportunity to be a guest on the show. But for real, listening to Marlene’s podcasts makes me feel like I’m sitting around having a real convo with my besties– it doesn’t get better than that.
3. The RISE Podcast by Rachel Hollis
I talked about Rachel Hollis and her fabulous books in a different post, but I’m here to tell you her podcast show is just a praiseworthy! One of my most recent podcast episodes is Episode # 102 with guest Ed Mylett! You have to go listen to the wisdom on this episode and all the other ones as well.
4. That Sounds Fun with Annie F. Downs
If you are looking for a faith-based podcast that is relatable, hilarious, and light hearted; look no further. Annie F. Downs is the real deal. I have enjoyed her interview with comedian, Heather Land and her EnneaSummer serious, where she focuses in on the Enneagram! Which is you don’t know your Enneagram number you should seriously think about taking a quiz and diving into the Enneagram– I found so much insight to how and why I make decisions based on my fears and personality.
I have handful of other podcasts I am listening to and I might make a second podcast post. Podcasts great way to pass the time and learn something new. BONUS TIP: Push play on a new podcast episode and head out for a long walk–not only are you expanding your mind but you’re getting your steps in!
Let me know if you have any podcasts you are enjoying right now. I am always looking for suggestions.
